These two are fabulous and always keep me laughing…..just a little look at them on their special day.

James and Rachel.

Would you believe me if I told you this beautiful young lady is my cousin? I mean, we look exactly alike so I’m sure you are wondering why I would even ask that! haha. Well, she is my cousin and just happens to be half Samoan.  My family grew up always living close to her’s, until we moved to AZ and to this day we all keep in touch.  I was honored when she asked me to be her wedding photographer!

For their engagements I took a little trip up to Utah to capture the love and adoration they have for one another.  James absolutely ADORES her in every way and he was always excited to kiss on her and get all mushy with her!

They are now married and honeymooning in Cancun and I promise it won’t take me months to post their wedding images! ;)

*And don’t mind the random picture for my banner…husband was messing around changing things and hasn’t had time to put my images back up…should be back to normal sometime today.*

Blog neglect.

I know, I am a bad blogger these days….It’s called being pregnant and traveling a lot for work these days….so here is a little sneak peak to hold you over.

Meet Mr. and Mrs. Thomas who were married in the fabulous Cancun, Mexico!

Double trouble…

These adorable twins just turned one!!  I could go on and on about how much I love these two…not just because they are family…but because I want to just squeeze their chubby little thighs all day long, but I won’t….I will let you see for yourself how adorable and fun their personalities are.

Brandon and Chakeia.

I remember exactly how and when Chakeia and I met…it was at the bridal show.  She grabbed my flyer and proceeded to stuff it in her purse…instead of the bag they give you.  I joked with her about putting it in her purse and she laughed back and said it was because she liked my booth…and then she was gone.  It was that simple…nothing fancy…and then she emailed me, explained what she wanted and told me to make it happen.  She knew exactly what she wanted and I knew that I instantly liked her.

Brandon and Chakeia compliment each other perfectly.  He was quiet, she was more outspoken but one thing they shared…laughter.  All he had to do was look at her a certain way or whisper something in her ear and she was laughing.

I loved working with these two and I loved their images so much I really couldn’t narrow it down…I promise I tried…ok, maybe I didn’t try very hard.

McKynlee

While photographing this little lady I was amazed at how much she smiled!  Her Mom and I hardly had to say or do anything to get her to give us a big smile! She is one happy, loveable baby girl and I could just squeeze on her all day long!

Jolley Family.

This family is a special one….they are my cousins by marriage and I love it!  Amy is an amazing woman, Mom and friend.  Their little girl is having a few health problems currently and when they asked me to take their family pictures I was ecstatic because I knew how important they are right now.  My goal with every shoot is to capture the true essence of each family/individual, which can sometimes be difficult but this time I pushed myself to let things happen they way they should and not force the family to be something they aren’t and I feel like I succeeded more than I ever expected to.

Jesse and Maria.

Maria and I met about two years ago at the Bridal Show, she works for the fabulous Tracy over at The Views.  The minute I met her I knew I would love her.  She is always smiling, laughing and will do anything for you.  When she asked me to photograph her wedding I was so excited and honored!  I couldn’t wait to document her relationship with Jesse.  I didn’t meet Jesse until the day we did their engagement session, but I felt like I knew him because of what Maria had told me….don’t worry Jesse, she only told me good things! haha.  Maria, I just adore you and I know that Jesse does too!

Brandon and Emily.

When I met Emily I was instantly impressed with how organized she was! She had checklists coming out of her ears and I loved it because I’m such a checklist kind of girl!  The entire process with Brandon and Emily was effortless and fun because of her mad skills.  This girl created most of the details you will see, yep, she did it all!  And what amazing taste she has…everything came together perfectly!
