Josh and Kensie Engaged.

These two are married now…so I thought it was about time I blogged their engagement session.  Kensie is my best friend’s little sister, so basically my little sister! These two are so cute and fun together…constantly laughing and loving on each other.  Next up…their wedding!

Trale and Laura.

The first time I met Laura and her Mom I was instantly in love with both of them!  They were constantly smiling, laughing and were so easy to talk to.  I knew right away that I could definitely be friends with them.  Trale was unable to meet with us because he was out hunting…he is a very avid hunter and Laura is so cute and is learning the hunting “lingo.”

They met at NAU their freshman year and have since both graduated with their undergrads from NAU and are now working on graduate school!  They are both very active and outdoorsy…is that even a word? haha. They instantly made it clear that their engagement session had to be up North where they met.  I was so excited to take a little road trip and spend the afternoon with them.  Sadly it decided to rain on us that day…and I’m not talking about the usual AZ rain where it sprinkles here and there.  The sky was slowly becoming black and the clouds were thick, but we made it work!  They were such good sports about the nasty weather.

A big thanks to the fabulous Sara Ratcliff for assisting me that day, we had a blast with these two!  Trale is currently in medical school and we had fun teasing him about having to deliver my baby….now that would make for some awesome bonding time! hahaha.

James and Rachel.

Would you believe me if I told you this beautiful young lady is my cousin? I mean, we look exactly alike so I’m sure you are wondering why I would even ask that! haha. Well, she is my cousin and just happens to be half Samoan.  My family grew up always living close to her’s, until we moved to AZ and to this day we all keep in touch.  I was honored when she asked me to be her wedding photographer!

For their engagements I took a little trip up to Utah to capture the love and adoration they have for one another.  James absolutely ADORES her in every way and he was always excited to kiss on her and get all mushy with her!

They are now married and honeymooning in Cancun and I promise it won’t take me months to post their wedding images! ;)

*And don’t mind the random picture for my banner…husband was messing around changing things and hasn’t had time to put my images back up…should be back to normal sometime today.*

Brandon and Chakeia.

I remember exactly how and when Chakeia and I met…it was at the bridal show.  She grabbed my flyer and proceeded to stuff it in her purse…instead of the bag they give you.  I joked with her about putting it in her purse and she laughed back and said it was because she liked my booth…and then she was gone.  It was that simple…nothing fancy…and then she emailed me, explained what she wanted and told me to make it happen.  She knew exactly what she wanted and I knew that I instantly liked her.

Brandon and Chakeia compliment each other perfectly.  He was quiet, she was more outspoken but one thing they shared…laughter.  All he had to do was look at her a certain way or whisper something in her ear and she was laughing.

I loved working with these two and I loved their images so much I really couldn’t narrow it down…I promise I tried…ok, maybe I didn’t try very hard.

Jesse and Maria.

Maria and I met about two years ago at the Bridal Show, she works for the fabulous Tracy over at The Views.  The minute I met her I knew I would love her.  She is always smiling, laughing and will do anything for you.  When she asked me to photograph her wedding I was so excited and honored!  I couldn’t wait to document her relationship with Jesse.  I didn’t meet Jesse until the day we did their engagement session, but I felt like I knew him because of what Maria had told me….don’t worry Jesse, she only told me good things! haha.  Maria, I just adore you and I know that Jesse does too!

Mike and Liz.

The first time I met these two I instantly fell in LOVE with them!  They are hilarious and we were instantly laughing and having a good time!  Let’s just say we have a few inside jokes from that initial meeting and Mike will not let me live them down.  Even though we laugh constantly and always have a good time when we are together, I can honestly say that these two are perfect for each other and have such a special bond.  I can’t wait for their wedding in two weeks!

James and Hillarie.

Last month I second shot for the fabulous Sara Coral Photography and I just loved this couple!  They are so sweet and so in love.  As we moved around they were constantly holding hands, sneaking kisses, and enjoying every minute together.  Thanks for having me Sara, it was a blast!

Luke and Heather.

I promise I tried to narrow down my favorites but it was just too hard!  These two are FABULOUS and STUNNING! I had a great time getting to know them better…I can’t wait for their wedding in April.  I’m sure you will all notice that Heather has amazing skin and gorgeous eye lashes, I was very jealous! ha ha.

And just a heads up….I’m working on a new webiste that is gorgeous!  I’m so excited about it!  This year is going to be big and I can’t wait to share it with all of you!  I’m also going to work on being more personal on here…not sure why I’m not, I’m an open person but for some reason just used this blog for work stuff.  Whenever I think about opening up on my blog these sony lyrics go through my head….”let’s get physical, physical.”  I have no idea why but that’s what I think of and it just makes me laugh, so, to have some fun I will be calling my personal posts “Let’s get Personal.” Do you get it? I hope you do! ha ha.  I’m looking forward to an awesome 2010 and can’t wait to share my new site! Now enough about that….on to Luke and Heather!
