These adorable twins just turned one!! I could go on and on about how much I love these two…not just because they are family…but because I want to just squeeze their chubby little thighs all day long, but I won’t….I will let you see for yourself how adorable and fun their personalities are.
While photographing this little lady I was amazed at how much she smiled! Her Mom and I hardly had to say or do anything to get her to give us a big smile! She is one happy, loveable baby girl and I could just squeeze on her all day long!
This little lady is very special to me, her Mom and I are good friends and I just adore their entire family. I am also convinced that her Mother is really Superwoman because she is truly amazing and a great Mother to her adorable girls. This little angel makes kid #4 and girl #4 for their family….talk about some girl power up in that house! Her middle name, Sailor, isn’t just a fun name her family loves…she was given this special name after her Grandpa who has been in the navy for 30 years. Talk about a special name for a special little girl.
This little man is just the cutest! I feel so blessed to know that this special guy is family and that I will be able to watch him grow and learn. He wasn’t even two weeks old when we took these pics and he was so easy to work with. He was so content and didn’t mind that I was moving him all around. We did these photos at my house and you know what that means….my assistant was on hand to make sure the bean bag was nice and soft for the baby!
If you haven’t seen a beautiful baby lately I am here to help! Look at those BIG brown eyes! She was the sweetest, most calm 7 month old ever. Ok….so maybe she was a little tired because she decided not to take a nap in the morning like she usually does but hey, she was incredible! And I must add that I think all babies just know they are about to have their pictures taken and just can’t sleep because they are so excited! haha…it seems like everyone says the same thing when I show up…oh, the baby decided not to sleep! That’s when I reassure them that it doesn’t matter….every baby is beautiful no matter what they are doing….crawling, smiling, spitting up, crying, clapping…the list goes on and on.
Last week I snapped a few pics of my niece…her Mom wanted pics before her cute “gummy” smile is gone for good! She now has two teeth since we took these….she is growing up so fast! I haven’t played with textures too much lately. I’ve been focusing on leaving images in their natural state, not altering them with textures much. But yesterday I decided to play with this image and I love it!
Recently, my best friend was in town and brought her new bundle of joy…well, to us it was new because we had never met her! She is now 4 months old and just too cute for words! I helped throw her a baby shower and afterwards we explored her sisters back yard and let me tell you…the area we photographed in was fabulous! Can I please have that in my back yard??? Let’s get Personal: For the last three night I’ve tossed and turned all night long…then I wake up in a funk…almost grumpy but not. I’m not sure I love this pattern, it’s really making it hard for me to be motivated in the mornings. I need to find a way to get out of this nasty funk!
This darling little angel belongs to a dear friend of mine. A couple weeks after she arrived the husband and I took them dinner….we would have gone sooner but we had both been sick and didn’t want to spread our germs….so we waited and finally had the chance to meet her. Right before we ate I took just a few pictures of her in their backyard, nothing fancy, just a few to document how small and new she was. Luckily her older brother liked her that day and loved on her for us….he didn’t like her at first, then loved her and now just ignores her unless Mom is holding her…then he wants in on the action too. Don’t you just love how early sibling rivalry starts? ha ha.
While I was in Utah I had the pleasure of meeting this little guy! Just about a year ago I was photographing his parents wedding, crazy how time flies! He sure gave his Mom a run for her money by putting her on bed rest and arriving early but he is healthy and very, very loved.
