I was honored to second shoot for the fabulous Sara Coral and just loved working with her! We always have a blast together and the bride and groom were so sweet and kind….not just to us but towards one another. Remember how I wanted to be more personal on my blog and update about my life more often….well, I’ve failed so far! But I promise I’ve had good reasons…yes, more than one reason! April has been the busiest month for me this year…so far…and I have LOVED it! All of my clients have been super fabulous. And even though I haven’t blogged as much as I would like to and even though I may take longer than normal to edit your images, I promise there is a good reason….well besides the fact that I am human and sometimes I falter and let life get in the way. Last weekend we moved….we left the one house we’ve lived in since we got married and let me tell you, moving is not my cup of tea. It’s incredible how much time and work goes into moving! And last but not least….the biggest reason I have neglected a few things lately, I’m pregnant. Yes, I’m going to be a Mother come November and I can’t even tell you how excited I am. This has been a bit of a struggle for us. We’ve been trying for quite some time and one day I will share how it went down but for now you can visit my personal blog and it gives you a glimpse into the last two years: Rob and Amanda. Last but not least….please disregard the random changes you will be seeing on my website/blog. I’ve been in the process of changing things up and with the BIG things going on in my life right now it’s been neglected….but it’s at the top of my list for this summer. I apologize now for things being under construction and hopefully my amazing web king…aka my husband…will have time to finish things up! Thank you to all of my amazing clients for being understanding and thank you to all my readers who check my blog regularly and find nothing new…I promise to work on that! Love you all! Last month I was honored to photograph the monthly WEN meeting at The Views at Superstition. Tracy, the owner of The Views was a fabulous host and had help from fabulous vendors: Thank you Curtis and Tracy for a wonderful night of fun and networking! Preston and Nicole are family to my great photographer friend Melissa Jackson and I felt honored to help Melissa on their big day! They were married at the stunning Views at Superstition. The weather was perfect, the sky was an amazing shade of blue and they looked amazing! The beautiful flowers were provided by the incredibly talented Marni at Wild Iris Weddings. This little lady is very special to me, her Mom and I are good friends and I just adore their entire family. I am also convinced that her Mother is really Superwoman because she is truly amazing and a great Mother to her adorable girls. This little angel makes kid #4 and girl #4 for their family….talk about some girl power up in that house! Her middle name, Sailor, isn’t just a fun name her family loves…she was given this special name after her Grandpa who has been in the navy for 30 years. Talk about a special name for a special little girl. The first time I met these two I instantly fell in LOVE with them! They are hilarious and we were instantly laughing and having a good time! Let’s just say we have a few inside jokes from that initial meeting and Mike will not let me live them down. Even though we laugh constantly and always have a good time when we are together, I can honestly say that these two are perfect for each other and have such a special bond. I can’t wait for their wedding in two weeks! If you happen to visit my website recently or in the near future, please don’t mind the random changes here and there and things that just don’t look right….I am currently working on a new website! I’m excited about the new changes and can’t wait until it’s done! If you are looking for me newest work, please check this blog….my galleries haven’t been updated do to the changes my website is undergoing. I promise to get caught up on my blogging! Thanks for being understanding! Love! This little man is just the cutest! I feel so blessed to know that this special guy is family and that I will be able to watch him grow and learn. He wasn’t even two weeks old when we took these pics and he was so easy to work with. He was so content and didn’t mind that I was moving him all around. We did these photos at my house and you know what that means….my assistant was on hand to make sure the bean bag was nice and soft for the baby! Last month I second shot for the fabulous Sara Coral Photography and I just loved this couple! They are so sweet and so in love. As we moved around they were constantly holding hands, sneaking kisses, and enjoying every minute together. Thanks for having me Sara, it was a blast! |
