I am going to be very honest right now and admit something very, very sad….I helped the fabulous Holli Horton with this wedding BEFORE I had my baby and my baby is almost four months old…I know, I failed but at least I am admitting it and I did have a good reason! haha.

Mother.
On November 12th I became a Mother. I feel so blessed to call this little guy mine, he truly is amazing!
The first time I met Laura and her Mom I was instantly in love with both of them! They were constantly smiling, laughing and were so easy to talk to. I knew right away that I could definitely be friends with them. Trale was unable to meet with us because he was out hunting…he is a very avid hunter and Laura is so cute and is learning the hunting “lingo.” They met at NAU their freshman year and have since both graduated with their undergrads from NAU and are now working on graduate school! They are both very active and outdoorsy…is that even a word? haha. They instantly made it clear that their engagement session had to be up North where they met. I was so excited to take a little road trip and spend the afternoon with them. Sadly it decided to rain on us that day…and I’m not talking about the usual AZ rain where it sprinkles here and there. The sky was slowly becoming black and the clouds were thick, but we made it work! They were such good sports about the nasty weather. A big thanks to the fabulous Sara Ratcliff for assisting me that day, we had a blast with these two! Trale is currently in medical school and we had fun teasing him about having to deliver my baby….now that would make for some awesome bonding time! hahaha. Last year I traveled to this family in New Mexico…but since I was really pregnant they came to me this year! We love this family and were so happy to have them visit us for the weekend! The girls are ADORABLE and I could squeeze them all day long!!! Heather is a very special person…she grew up next to my husband. And when I say grew up they literally have lived next door to each other for 20 plus years, which makes her special! I love her family and being able to photograph her wedding and see the love between her and Brad was incredible. Lucky for me they were married in Cancun, Mexico. It was a little on the warm side but you would never guess by looking at them, they looked AMAZING!
My beautiful cousin was married this summer in Utah. It was wonderful to visit with my family who I miss so much! We all grew up together and when we get together we always have a good time! Congrats Rachel, you found a great guy…we are so happy for you!
Everything about this wedding just makes me smile….they are such wonderful people and I feel blessed and lucky to have been with them on such a special day.
Jeff and Jacqueline were married in California and because we did a beach session the day before the wedding I decided to break it up into two posts. This session was amazing and Melissa Jackson and I had so much fun “playing” in the water with them! You wouldn’t know it by looking at them but they are both in the military, I want them to know how much that means to me personally, what an honor to get to know two special people who are serving our country! Love you guys!
Can you believe it’s time to start thinking about Holiday photos??? I can’t!! That means I will be having a baby in NO time! I will be doing a very limited number of sessions this holiday season, if you are interested in family photos email me now so we can talk dates, etc. I love this time of year and all of the amazing families I get to work with!!! It was an honor to be with Kevin and Lindsay on their wedding day….they shared so many special moments that I will always remember. A special thanks goes to Sara for assisting me….this was by far the longest wedding I have every photographed and we had a great time working together and capturing the true love Kevin and Lindsay have for one another!
